Thought I’ll show on my blog as well and not only the ning site – my new mixed-media art journal!! Decided to sign up for the fabulous Kelly Kilmer’s A Prompt A Day class. She’s fun and cool and I love her blog. Mucho organized classes and the perfect journal cheerleader for me! I need that. Started out with an old discarded German book cover about plants. This was the best excuse for me to use Kaffe Fassett fabrics inside and out, buttons, fibers and beads and of course a cool Goth girl from Daniel Torrente/Stampotique. FUN FUN FUN!!! Inside are signatures made of folded watercolor paper, strong enough to hold mixed-media doodads. I keep getting asked where I buy my Kaffe fabrics. Bastelkiste here in Luxembourg sells them, though most of the time I order them online from Glorious Color (best deal and smal min. sizes) and eQuilter.
