I have been to Casa Azul in DF and also to Diego’s house in Guanajuato.This house is by far the most colorful, culturally rich and most romantic house that I have ever seen. I recommend this as a must see for any admirer of Frida Kalo’s work. To me the most memorable moment was looking in to the very same mirrored ball that she looked in and created one of her most loved paintings.

Such a wonderful trip!! We were lucky here in Minneapolis to have a Frida exhibit last summer. It was breathtaking to see them “in person”.
