Look what I caught sitting on a flower in my garden, a Frida Mariposa (butterfly) Icicle Doll. It’s often a challenge to incorporate rubberstamps into fabric art. Here I stamped the wing (Tin Can Mail) onto a transparency and added some glitter. Another entry for the WS In my Garden challenge. Mexican paper flowers are from ARTchix Studio.
In December I read on several blogs and in emails that they don’t have fabric images to make Icicle Dolls. I made some using various (ARTchix Studio) supplies which I’m sure you’ll have at least one of at home. Full instructions can be found HERE. More ideas for placing images onto may be dominoes, poker chips, buttons, etc. Why not attach them with safety pins? Have a look at your art supplies and you’ll surely find lots of more ideas!
